SAHARA EXPERIENCE| 12TH - 16TH APRIL 2025

Experience traveling back in time: discover the vastness of the Sahara Desert in the dunes of Merzouga with the oases and kasbahs of southern Morocco. Live the adventure of arriving in the Sahara Desert on a camel and spending the night under a sea of stars in a camp at the foot of the dunes. Get to know completely different ways of life. Share with Berber families and witness the high degree of hospitality they offer to strangers. Discover also the imperial cities of Fez and Meknes. A journey to unknown places that you will hardly forget. Come and enjoy it!

ITINERARY

DAY 1
(Córdoba - Fez- Ifran) Departure towards Algeciras. We take a Fast Ferry and cross the Strait of Gibraltar. Next, we take the bus again and head to Fez, the Idrisid capital. Start enjoying because we are in Morocco!! There we will have lunch, take a tour, visit its medina, majestic streets, and its souk. Afterward, we continue our adventure and finally go to the hotel in Ifran, where we will rest and have dinner included.

DAY 2
We are on our way to the desert through the interior of Morocco... A marvel! We will pass through one of Morocco's most famous forests known for its Cedars and monkeys! If we have the chance to see them, we will stop to take photos. Midway, we will stop in Rissani, famous for its spices, dates, and traditional market! Also known as the gateway to the desert, and then... we are in the desert... Uueee!! Check-in at the hotel. In the evening, a gala night at the desert hotel! Bring your best dresses as the Berbers will throw a perfect party at the hotel.

DAY 3
Good morning from the desert! We start enjoying the warmth in the hotel pool. In the morning, we have hotel activities and 4x4 tours!!!! We recommend this extra activity; we will pass through beautiful areas of the desert and see the nomads. We always bring food to the desert for the nomad children. If you want to bring food, we can give it to them during the 4x4 tour. Around 5:30 pm, we will take the camels for about two hours to reach the Haimas, where we will spend the night!! A night of sand and stars, a very special night as we will sleep in the desert dunes, in Haimas or traditional tents of the desert men, the desert dwellers.



DAY 4
After witnessing one of the best sunrises in the world, we leave the desert and take the bus again to return north. We will enjoy the geography of southern Morocco: crossing the Middle Atlas and the High Atlas, where extensive oases full of palm trees reveal the typical geography of southern Morocco during this travel day. We will stop at the Ziz Valley, the largest oasis in Morocco full of palm groves where the most dates in Morocco are harvested. After a few stops, we will arrive to have a panoramic view of the streets and viewpoints of Meknes, and finally around 8:00 pm, check-in at the hotel and dinner included. At night, we will have a party!



DAY 5
We will leave Meknes behind to start the journey back to Spain. In the evening, we will take the ferry that will bring us back to the other world. Perhaps we will encounter some surprises!
