We are going to Lisboa, the capital city of Portugal. We are spending 3 days and 2 nights in one of the best hostels located in the city center. Do you join us? :) We will also visit Sintra, Cascais and Cabo da Roca, the most western point in Europe!
Lisbon is the amazing capital cit of Portugal and one of the most charismatic and vibrant cities of Western Europe. It is a city that effortlessly merges its traditional heritage with a shocking modernism and a liberal thinking movement. Lisbon offers a rich and varied history, a lively nightlife and the gift of an absolutely gorgeous weather throughout the year.
ITINERARY
FRIDAY
We will take the bus and check-in at the hostel. We'll provide free time for lunch, and in the afternoon, there will be a guided tour of Lisbon with an official guide who will show us the most important squares and sites: Commerce Square, Santa Justa Elevator, Rocio Square, Marquês de Pombal Square. We recommend comfortable footwear, as Lisbon has many hills. In the evening, we'll head to a Lisbon nightclub for a party! Entrance is included.
SATURDAY
Option 1: (optional additional 25€) At noon, we take the bus (approx. 40 min) to Quinta da Regaleira, and later, we'll reach Cabo da Roca, the westernmost point of Europe.
Option 2: Free time to explore Lisbon. Even though we will have visited the city's main monuments earlier, Lisbon is a city where you can wander through its streets, enjoy the scenery, taste the cuisine, buy souvenirs, or visit one of its viewpoints for panoramic views of the entire capital. In the evening, we have free time for dinner and then, more partying!
SUNDAY
Check-out, we take the bus, and right after, a visit to one of the most beautiful neighborhoods in Lisbon: Belém. First, we will visit Belém Tower, pass by the Monument to the Discoveries, and then visit the Jerónimos Monastery. If we have time, we'll stop to try the famous and delicious Lisbon pastries. We will visit the 25th of April Bridge and the Cristo Rei. Here, we'll spend some time taking photos and enjoying the beautiful Lisbon landscape. Then, we return home.
